Artisan Foods. A review.

Tucked in downtown Roswell is the very charming Artisan Foods bakery and cafe. I was in for breakfast (served until 11 am).

Counter order service dining in or taking out.  Breakfast is standard fare. Omlettes, french toast scented of orange and cinnamon, eggs, biscuits, bacon, chicken sausage, beignets (served all day) and more.

I opted for french toast and chicken sausage. The toast is custardy and flavorful with the addition of orange. The chicken sausage is a little disappointing. It is dense and borderline dry. Flavor is not as strong as a sausage should be.  Biscuits are light and tasty. Eggs cooked to order. Cafe au lait absolutely delicious.

The tables are mismatched in the most charming of ways. Two outdoor eating areas as well as a dozen or so tables inside of various sizes.

Lunch rush came in just as I ended my breakfast. Apparently lots of regulars keep this place open and I see why. The sandwiches coming out of the kitchen looked mouth watering. No doubt they are delicious with all the freshly baked bread ready to fill!
