Taxco. A review.

The token Mexican joint of the wieuca road area of Roswell Road. I’ve been more than a handful of times over the past two years. It’s consistent take out or eat in. Take out orders are prepared quite quickly if you aren’t able to call in first. Counter staff is always delightful.

The patio can get very loud depending on your fellow diners.  The dine in service is inconsistent but this isn’t fine dining so I keep my expectations in check.

The  margaritas are standard issue. Not remarkable but certainly drinkable.  The menu is standard casual Mexican fare. You will find delicious fresh chicken tortilla soup. As good as it gets queso (get some beef or beans in it!) and light crisp chips as your starter. The chicken enchiladas are delicious as are the crispy tacos. I am a regular for a reason. They haven’t ever disappointed me.

Parking is borderline atrocious but considering it’s due to the fact that they are consistently busy with repeat clientele and there isn’t necessarily enough parking spots to hold all the happy customers that isn’t a bad problem.
