Southern Elements. A Review.

I am not by any means well versed in hotel food dining.  I had a short amount of time for a bite and ventured into this lobby location of the downtown Hilton for lunch. Southern Elements absolutely does look like you're in the lobby restaurant of the hilton (Nikolai's roof is on top if you need finer fare and atmosphere).

Being overly hungry the typical southern lighter lunch fare didn't speak to me but the burger did.  Can I say this is one of the best burgers I've had!?  Cooked perfectly. Thick, juicy, beefy patty sandwhiched in a toasted brioche bun. A little high at $14 for a  burger lunch but isn't a good burger nearly priceless?   Simple classic well made burger. I was more than satisfied.

The shrimp corn chowder has good rounded flavor. Hearty and satisfying.  Good tea as any respectable southern establishment would stock. Overpriced at $3.50 also but alas free refills help that burger go down.

When in Rome. Or downtown Atlanta as the case may be.
